James' grandma contacted me clear back in February to do his party again this year. At first he wanted to do a Star Wars theme, and I was so excited because I'm a total nerd, lol! But then he changed his mind and wanted the smartphone/tablet game he is into at the moment, Plants vs Zombies. At first I was disappointed, but the more I got into the planning, the more excited I got! This game, for those who don't know, is basically a tower defense style game where you place various "plants" as weapons in your yard, to protect your home against invading zombie hordes. The graphics are adorable and the names of the plants are fun, plants like Pea-shooters, Bonk Choy, Wall-nuts, and Cabbage-pults. The decorations came from a wide variety of places including Ebay, Etsy, random blogs, and of course the old standby, the wholesale branch of Oriental Trading. (They provided the inflatable brains and other fun stuff that was perfect for the theme, though they didn't have any specific PvZ items). I was very grateful to be able to hire an assistant and photographer to help with this party. Enjoy the photos!

where did you get the figures you used for the peashooter game. I want to do that for my sons birthday but cannot find anything like that.

Hello and thanks for your comment! I bought a downloadable clip art pack from a seller on www.Etsy.com. Best of luck!
